Acid reflux conditions can be the result of poor eating habits and even the aging process itself. We all know that certain foods can cause indigestion; ketchup, raw garlic and onions, chocolate, coffee and alcohol. Ingesting these foods can make you acidic and cause acid reflux. However, most of us are unable to resist one or more of these items every day. In addition to eliminating “triggering” foods from our diet, there are many natural herbs and nutritional supplements that can help prevent this disease.
Chronic dyspepsia can also be caused by a lack of hydrochloric acid. Some people have insufficient acidity due to their age.
