    For me I was sedentary at age ten started getting bullied for being overweight and then became hospitalised with anorexia barely five months later I've struggled all through school but now I'm out of education I'm so happy with me I can eat and exercise for health no one's approval or the hope of no bullying now I love to walk, weightlift and I do enjoy the cross trainer at times too 😄💖

    I really don't like exercising so I don't do it on a regular basis. But I think walking and having some activities throughout your week is enough. I also do an occasional squat or a push up lol

    Jessie,this video, the amount of girl YouTubers at the minute who are on fitness journeys,dieting,working out 3/4 times a day just to look good,seeing a dietitian who works with celebrities, drives me mad, it causes eating disorders because other girls think they should copy and try the meal plans, this video means alot,girls need to see this video 😀

    Just watched when I got in from work. Great video, I enjoy when you vlog alone or with your sister. I think this video had very good points in it such as how diets don't work, usually when you go off a diet you gain the weight back. I also liked how you stated that working out is for yourself. I think a pod cast with you and Melanie would be a great idea it would probably be funny, entertaining and informative. Keep up the good work.👍😁

    I also started working out for the wrong reasons and doing just cardio and planks, then I also started reading about weights and trying moves out at home. Later on, I started going to the gym with my brother and he helped me using a barbell for the first time.

    Now, I still do at home workouts sometimes, but I mainly looove my weight sessions in the gym and going for a walk as often as possible. My relationship with nutrition is finally getting better, as I have to tale care of my body and to grow muscle. Fitness is such a beautiful thing and my life has changed and I know I will maintain this lifestyle.

    Thank you guys for sharing your journey. It is nice to hear people talk about their experiences, really motivating for others as well. Let’s stay strong together💪🏻❤️

    I've always struggled with my body image and stuff like that (ever since I was 13. I'm turning 20 this month). I could never stick to any diets etc. because I hated it and I was over the top with it all. I'd go in intensely and never sticked to it. Also when I was younger I used to be obsessed with counting calories and wanting to become slim. I'd follow lots of ED tumblr pages which was so bad for me. I'm proud to say that now I started exercising for different reasons. That's when it all changed. When I became overweight I realised that it's time for me to do something about it as this isn't healthy for me and i'm unhappy. I'm taking things slow and not following any diets. I'm just eating healthily. I started walking a lot as a challenge for a charity where I pledged to walk 26.2 miles in a month and I do light intensity exercise as i'm not used to it. I'll keep building up from here (also I returned to horseriding which is also a good workout and I enjoy it very much). This has been really beneficial for my mental health too.

    Honestly I have been struggling with fitness for a while. I've been yo-yoing between binge eating disorder and bulimia for the longest time now. And for a lot of the time people weren't aware. When I first lost a significant amount of weight, everyone was happy because I looked so small and "healthy". People's perceptions of me have always been a struggle, especially as I am already a taller girl with a naturally bigger frame. Being incredibly small just isn't realistic for me. Nowadays, I am mostly recovered as far as eating habits are concerned but my own self-perception is incredibly flawed and dysmorphic. I am at a bigger size than I have ever been and whilst I by no means look "fat" or "too big" I definitely feel uncomfortable in my own body. At this point I feel a little stuck. As a uni student, with poor cooking knowledge and not enough funds for a gym, I'm scared I'll make no progress with at home workouts. But I am putting in the effort to try with small changes, one step at a time. I want to become mentally healthy enough to fully track my weight but I don't feel there yet, numbers on a scale are my worst nightmare.

    Loved this video! I don't exercise much now but I want to pick it back up. I just don't know how because I live in Paris where everything is so bloody expensive. My favorite exercise is climbing but the demand is too high so not only is it expensive, but the places are very limited as well. I don't know if I'd like to exercise in a gym, and that's expensive too. I can't run because Paris' air is so polluted, plus I'm afraid for my joints. I could swim more but there are too many people during the times I'm not working. The only thing I can think of is working out at home but it's kinda boring in the end. I'm still doing it but I have to find a long term solution for me…

    I'm 19 and haven't done much in my life. Lol anyway my teens were shite. And I would have done anything to put myself into a hole and stayed there. But when I was doing a wog as Melanie said. I felt so much better and that's what its about. I never kept it up but I feel like this has given me a bit of get up and go. Thanks Jessie!!!!!💜💚✌
