Roger hasn't recovered from the Wimbledon 2019 final.

When you get to 38 and playing tennis you start to have more "bad" days and less "good" days. He is still a great player. One of his great qualities is he "forgets" quickly and moves on. Things will be fine moving forward. We will be having no "tag" days for Roger one way or the other!!

Asshole Dimitrov. Robbed Roger of another title and let the clay court loser win US Open considering how Roger smashed the ass scratcher(nadal) in wimbeldon.

THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH:

Did you walk on the court like that Roger? No. How did you get so incapacitated then? My opponent was so fast, strong, skilled and determined that when I tried to match him my body broke down, so he caused this. This is how he beat me, the result of the cumulative effect of him being so much better than me. I’m older and weaker, and the younger man beat me to failure. I’m aging quickly at this point and I can’t count on my body to reliably get through the more grueling contests. I’m just hoping to get lucky at this point, and hope such a competitor doesn’t push me as hard and that the old bones can occasionally withstand it.

HONORABLE, BUT DELUSIONAL ABOUT ROGER’S CURRENT AND FUTURE CONDITION:

Did you walk on the court like that Roger? No. How did you get so incapacitated then? My opponent was so fast, strong, skilled and determined that when I tried to match him my body broke down, so he caused this. This is how he beat me, the result of the cumulative effect of him being so much better than me. I’m older, and the younger man beat me to failure.

    DISHONORABLE COP OUT:

“This is Grigor’s moment, not my body’s moment. “

Federer should just bow out this year because he has not really been truly competitive since 2012, with the exception of 2017. At 38 he will not be able to produce much more against Nadal and Djorkovic, and it's sad for him because he has been consistent for the last 16 years in terms of reaching semi finals and finals, but what is point of this if you are going to fail when you play the other two, and can't progress because they are 5 or more years younger then you are. This is not about whether he is better then them, but the fact that he is both slower physically and mentally compared to them. If he was 6 years younger I am quite certain he would have won 4 to 8 more grand slam titles between 2013 and 2016, and at least 4 of those would have been at Wimbledon in those years.

  8. SRINIVAS VANGALA

He should be as hungry as rafa

  9. Martin French

Rodger will come back stronger because he has great mental atitude

  14. Laura Butler

All I can say is I LOVE THIS GUY!

  15. Mike Atkins

Classy comments Roger. Gives Grigor due credit and doesn't use his body as an excuse. Humble and mature champion always.

  16. Ben Jones

    Did he though?

  17. James Garfoyle

Too bad. Djokovic and Nadal are coming. All you Fed fans better get used to being fans of 3rd GOAT.

  18. Junk Dog san

Atleast he didn't retire, he gave what the fans wanted to see, a very great match 😁

  19. Leroy Rodgers

Federer destroyed the previous opponents. I figured something was wrong. At least he was willing to play through it unlike Djokovic. Probably didnt want to get booed.

  20. New Thitipoom Techaapaikhun

    VAMOS RAFAEL NADAL!!! 🇪🇸

  21. Dan Customer

It always seems to be a back problem when you lose to someone un ranked !

  22. Theresa Bruntom

Can't believe he was whining about pain. I though he had more class than that. It just takes away from the win of Dimitrov.

  23. Teresa Virina

So admire Roger Federer hat even he does not feel good in his match with Gregor, Roger finished the match. Unlike Dkokovic, felt also some pain BUT the unprofessional that he is, , in the 3rd set, he left the tennis court? Knowing he was loosing, he left on a huff! Did not even give the courtesy to Wowrinka that he won. So the audience bood djokovic !!

  24. Danisima

    Hahahahahaha 😂😂😂
What a liar! His serve didn't serve him and that showed that without a serve he is beatable.

  25. Bernadette Jupille

Me dérange

  26. Lord Byron

I feel pain in my back, ankle, knee, elbow, hand, feet … almost every part of my body from playing tennis. I go to bed with pain and wake up in the morning with pain. And I’m 63. But I take no pain medication. If I don’t want pain, the solution is to stop playing tennis.

  27. Mauro Perez

I admired players who can handle journalists, they are incredibly stupid and make the most idiotic questions.

  28. Misa Pavicevic

Always Easiest draw for drama queen and he still complaining. Next time do some dopig test for change peace of shit

  29. Jan Merc

Non fans and Fans think these people are made of steel !! If I were Roger I would have exited from the first sign of pain !!

  34. HUNG MIN
