    Question: I am an older guy… started my comeback tour about 1 year ago. I have noticed something recently and I don't know if this is good or bad… I just know that it is different. I am now seeing a large drop off in reps between set 1 and set 2 of each new exercise? Example: 12 reps followed by 6 reps but then I can hold 5 or 6 reps for a few more sets. Anyone have thoughts on this? I probably need to add that I do very lite treadmill cardio between sets in an effort to burn calories. Thanks

    I love these types of workouts! I don't currently have dumbells so I use a resistance band. I bought a $14.00 pull up bar I put over my doorway and use my counter for dips. I do one minute of rope jumping, one minute of resistance band curls and forty seconds of rest. I then start again and go to rope jumping, situps for example and then the forty-second rest. I do this for 12 sets then stretch out for mobility. This makes for a great home workout that sums total costs under $25.00 in equipment. Most of which I got at 5 and below. I use this on about twice a week to offset my regular gym workouts (3 days a week). I have lost about 40 pounds am 10 percent BF and am gearing up for my first men over forty physique contest this May the second. Your stuff is inspirational and we do use it,(even tweak some of it to fit us individually). God bless and keep it up Rob

    This type of workout works for sure!! I workout at Planet Fitness and do the 30 minute circuit ( https://www.planetfitness.com/community/articles/5-benefits-circuit-training ) . My friends laugh at me but I'm in 10 times the shape they are. PF Circuits are designed with your whole body in mind and often consist of 10 strength machines and 10 cardio-step stations, each with 60-second exercises. Since you only have small increments of rest between reps and station changes, you can maximize both strength training and cardio in a single workout. Gary's workout will guarantee to work! Note: I'm not endorsing PF, just saying this type of workout works bigly! LOL
